I am modern independent woman and can take care of myself. I became that way out of neccessity, not because I neccessarily wanted to. I would have much rather lived in past times when things were much simpler like during the 50's and 60's. The music of that era is my most favorite music and a lot of music nowdays has lost the message that music had back then. I know what I want in life and am not afraid to strive to get it. I like being romanced and expect to be treated like a lady (I act like one most times too) but I also tend to be outspoken when I have something on my mind. Not all men like a woman who speaks her mind but that's the way I am and I'm not going to change (it takes the guess work out of knowing where you stand with me cause I'll tell ya........lol). That's not to say that I won't compromise but I'm not going to be dominated either. I would like to make new friends and hopefully find someone to share my life with. I want someone to walk beside me, not in front of or behind me. I have been divorced for almost 7 years and am through with the wild oats thing (lol) and looking for more now. I don't play the mind games and expect the same in return. Now that, that stuff is out of the way, a little about me. I love life and try to laugh everyday. I am very down to earth and like the simple things in life. I'm outgoing (I have to be in my career), I love people, and I'm very creative. I am a country girl and love camping, hiking, fishing, and roasting marshmallows over a bonfire (some of my most pleasant memories growing up were of camping with my family). I also love all kinds of music, although old rock and oldies are my favorites. Music has always been a kinda vice for me. I get lost in music (both in the lyrics and the melody) and it acts as a therapy for me when I feel stressed by the world or my career. I also love to go bowling and swimming too.
