A person of great character, loving, caring, affectionately open and accepting of things or people different or unlike me. I make every day count for the journey ahead and not the past behind me. I have an adventurous spirit, humane in thought, creative by nature and a CHRISTIAN by choice. Life has taken me through many paths and phases, none more important than those of wife and mother. My faith sustains me and my love for others contains me which lends it-self to being open to explore new things. “I’m a people person” I'm comfortable in any setting, have been from the Whitehouse to the Outhouse. When I turned 50 I developed a bucket list and that list included: more traveling, theater, museums, sailing, fishing, golf, skydiving, kayaking, horseback riding, enjoying nature, the wind, rain, water, sunsets, the zoo, visiting friends/family, sending love notes and presuming my pion “writing” One of the most significant thing my mother taught me is to LOVE myself, in loving myself there is still room to love others without being pompous or self-centered. I believe in treating everyone with respect regardless of what material things they own, or what degree’s they hold. We give value to what we have in our possession, it neither adds or takes away from you as a person…it may enhance your character or enable you to have the ability to do more for yourself or others. “ To much is given much is expected” I am culturally aware and sensitive, nothing intrigues me more than slavery; the stunning tales of survival, holding on to hope, faith, endurance and yet be prideful of whom they were as a people and royalty from many shared back home. I am still in AW about my recent vacation to South Carolina. “ We must not forget or let our kids forget” I’m civic minded, enjoy and participate in many community events.
