In today’s society image is everything and individuality is hard to find. I have not fallen into this trend, I stand out. My name is Stephanie and you’ll never meet anyone quite like me. I am simple yet complicated. Quiet yet heard. I can be annoying, yet you still listen. When it all comes down to who I am everyone will say, “ Stephanie.” I am a warrior. I have overcome and seen things that most people won’t experience in their lifetimes. I have found beauty in a twisted world that I called my home as I grew up in the corrupted “foster care system.” By the grace of God I have used my past to make me stronger. I am free. I am not categorized or put into a box. If I was in a box it would be a box that I have built on my own accord, there would be a hole in it, always open to change. I don’t believe I have a le. I believe that as a person if I know who I am and I stay true to myself I am free. I am simply myself. I am a dreamer. One that believes that anything is possible. I love, I laugh, I learn, I cry, I try my best to be all that I can be, and I leave the rest to God. It is actually quite simple. I am a lover. I am comfortable meeting new people and making new friends with someone that I have just met. I don’t like to fight. I prefer to get along than to be absolutely miserable and feel anger toward somebody else. I am fun. I enjoy going to movies, amut parks, vacationing, and my favorite thing is eating out at cultural places. I am a girl who dances in the rain, who is up for an adventure, loves previews, sings in the shower, gets butterflies before I see the cute waiter, and one who believes that wishing on a shooting star might bring you some luck. I am crazy-beautiful. I am sweet yet sour. I am strong but I can admit that I have my weak points. I don’t always have the answer to everything but if you ask me a question I will do my best to answer it. I am not fake, I am who I am and that’s all that I can be. I am smart and I hold the key to my success in life. I am young and I know that I have so much time to learn, to love, to make a difference in someone’s life, to start a family and to make my name known. To leave this earth and not be forgotten.
