A little about me...
I am a native of Dallas where I have lived most of my life. My service to my country is a proud accomplishment for me. I spent 10 years in the Marine Corps traveling all over the world.
I learned a lot about different cultures and lived in beautiful and exotic places. That experience left me with a healthy appreciation for being an American citizen.I was raised in the Baptist Church as a PK (preacher's kid). My uncle was also a Minister. So you can guess that I had two choices. Either I was going to be a good kid or take a tougher road that would get me in a lot of trouble. I decided that it was easier to be good so that I could grow up being able to sit down comfortably, lol. I am an old fashioned guy about some things. I still believe in being chivalrous by opening doors for ladies, being a good listener, sending flowers just because and just being there when she needs me. My style is a bit laid back, I love to look nice and believe in being respectful to women. I try to be open minded and view things from the other person's perspective when there is a conflict. Lastly, I am my own man and I prefer to have a good relationship with someone that wants to walk arm in arm or holding hands. Let's be that couple that everyone looks at.
About the one I'm looking for...
someone that I can walk with arm in arm or holding hands and people look at us and say they look happy. someone I can believe in and She believe in me.I am not really interested in a long distance relationship.
I'd just like to add...
I enjoyed eating out, movies i still enjoyed going to the Movies, but I also have my own movies collections. i love Music, am old skool kind of guy. I like to read and cook.
I like to Close with one of my favor Poem.
SOME LOVE,SOME PAIN, SOMETIME.
LOVE ENTERED IN MY HEART ONE DAY
A SAD, UNWELCOME GUEST.
BUT WHEN IT
BEGGED THAT IT MIGHT STAY I LET IT
STAY AND REST
IT BROKE MY NIGHTS WITH SORROWING IT
FILLED MY EYES WITH TEARS.
BUT...NOW THAT IT HAS GONE IT WAY,
I MISS THE DEAR OLD PAIN.
AND, SOMETIME
IN THE NIGHT I PRAY THAT LOVE MIGHT COME AGAIN.
