Money is the last subject I will include as a subject in any social media site emails. I figure that anyone with a genuine intention of meeting a potentially good, new friend will understand that bringing up money in early exchanges is disrespectful and will strongly suggest an agenda other than meeting a new friend who might eventually become a special friend. Tell me about the funny things your dogs and/or cats do. I like to hear a new friend's favorite memories of traveling and trying hang-gliding for the first time or some other activity that had a hilarious thrill involved. I have much respect for the men of my generation who served in the military in Vietnam and have great disrespect for anyone who PRETENDS to have served in the USA military. That is worse than pretending to not be married, when you actually are, or pretending to be wealthy when you actually are in the process of bankruptcy. I believe a person who honorably served as a Marine is always a Marine. I respect the effort to stop communism from spreading. I admire the people of Laos who fought with USA troops to stop the North Vietnam communism from taking over the south and admire the survivors who accepted the USA offer of refugee status if that military effort did not succeed. The Hmong of Minnesota, as a group, have been appreciative of their new opportunity to farm in Minnesota and also gain college degrees. Of course, all races and ethnicities and professions have individuals who fall far short of demonstrating good moral behavior among their choices for how to interact with life.
