I am forty years old and have full custody of both of my sons. We currently live in the suburbs but I am in the process of trying to get a VA Loan for home to move out onto 19 acres of land, where I will be raising cattle, as well as chickens, rabbits and other animals. I will also be growing my own orchards, and agriculture. With this said, please respect that I am looking for my future partner and wife; if you do not live in the area, please do not get upset if I am not interested. I am more than happy to be friends, but I am seriously looking for that one lady and she has to be near enough for me to see and interact with in person (exceptions are always made if you are active with the military) My eventual goals are to be completely self sufficient and off the grid. My youngest son is autistic (high functioning) who may well end up living with me for the rest of my life. He thrives in the country setting and is as exited about the prospect of starting our own ranch as you could imagine. I home school both boys, as the available public schools are nothing but a waste of time, and dangerous to boot. The boys do not agree of course (they get more school work from me than they ever did in public school lol), but they are definitely getting a far better education. I am looking for a younger lady (between thirty and forty) who understands that relationships are not something that just happen; they take a lot of work and there WILL be unhappiness occasionally. With that said, I will do my best to limit that unhappiness as much as is possible. I believe in listening, talking things out and compromising when needed. I do NOT believe in one person having all the say or doing all the work; nor do I believe in gender roles. When I was still married and my wife was active duty army (we met int he army) I stayed home in order to raise our oldest son as she was earning enough money that we didn't need more. When she left the Army later on, I went back to work, sometimes working two and three jobs, while she stayed home and took care of the children. Different people, different methods. It's all the same as long as everyone agrees and is happy.
