Hi...I am a Christian but not much religious in a fundamental way and I am active and highly interested in staying healthy mentally and physically. I am retired after many years providing services for the mentally challenged and to those with mental health issues in Ky. and TN. and relocated to Springfield Il , Land Of Lincoln, to enter the work force part time but the elections of Nov./ 14 changed everything and most positions in my profession are frozen so yep... I am retired and am viewing other possible options IE: relocating to a warmer climate for the causal employment. Helping others to help themselves has been my life's calling. I have been divorced for over four years with no children and I have passed through the tunnel for healing, over a collapsed 18 year marriage and believe that humor is paramount for my recovery and personal growth as I regain and reinvent a healthy life perspective for beginning anew.
I have been very active in community services and events over the last thirty years developing programs with fund raising events to make local parks in western Kentucky more accessible for the disabled.
I am happier in life sharing joys and pleasures with another way more than just living alone. I like cycling, walking, hiking, flee markets, estate sales, museums, live plays, watching NCAA Basketball, short trips, painting with oils when in the mood, watching movies at home. I enjoy Classical, Jazz, Blues, Oldies, and some country music and Southern Gospel. I am a history and world news buff. I have no body art or motorcycles but do love trains and travel. I am not a social drinker yet I drink a glass of red wine daily to maintain my good health. I am very comfortable at home .
