We all know that it's remarkably difficult to write about one's self, but that doesn't mean one can't be honest about one's needs and wants. So I'm not going to directly waffle on about myself, but rather what I'm looking for in life.
I am very happy in my career, it's rewarding both monetarily and psychologically, so one hurdle that obstructs general happiness isn't an issue. So I have a roof over my head and food on the table, I also have a son he is the reason I stay at work, I'm sure I'd be sitting under a palm tree on a tropical beach if I didn't have the kids to support, but one can't run away from responsibilities, regardless of where the kids live. My son is happy, well adjusted and I have a fantastic relationship with him.
So what's left? A century ago the things I've mentioned above would suffice as a demonstration of a successful life. That doesn't cut the mustard any more, so we have to look further afield to find true happiness and contentment.
