Her arms lay weak upon the bed

She eagerly rushes in her mind's eye to the first touch upon her breast by the hands that will come to know her well through the years.. The ripeness, the fullness, the firmness as her body grew with the babe that would be born of this knowing touch.. A silent tear slips down her cheek as she gazes at her child for the first time placing him to her breasts to take from her what is his... Feeling the love and warmth of this new born child held to the breasts that are now taken from her... Help!! Thief!! And she weeps as she thinks of all the memories that are linked to her breasts... Her hard won sense of self disappeared with the glint of steel under the watchful glare of uncaring lights... Her heart held memories of all that used to be now lay cut and discarded upon a metal tray numbers taped where a woman's life once lay.... EarthSprite..06 |

These words you have wrote have brought tears to my eyes. Tears for your loss, but also tears for having the ability to put down in words HERE. I cry for the memories we share, not the pain we feel. Whether or not it is painful, it is one you were able to share with me and I felt it.
Years ago I was an iceberg and didn't care about these types of things. Only a few years ago I found the words and feelings I am able to share. Feelings and sharing are worth the tears I shed.  G
