Topic: coming home from iraq

hey all this isnt nothing really important let me start off by introducing myself my name is patrick im 21 and currently in iraq i come home for 2 weeks R&R leave in may and i guess what im getting at is that im looking for some people in the bay city,MI area to hang out and have some drinks with its nothing special i just thought it would be cool to get away from the whole soldier thing for 2 weeks and just party and have some drinks if theres anybody interested feel free to respond thank you and stay safe

None of you HEAR that enough..Thanks for serving.. have a daughter that served 12 yrs in the Navy..May God bless all of you...

For a man in your position to wish us to stay safe embodies all a U.S. Soldier should be, and gives me hope for our future. We will be safe because there are brave people like yourself willing to see that we are. I raise my glass to you, and if you email me your address when you get back I will send you a money order for $100.00, so your first few drinks are on me. You stay safe sir so we may show our respect to you upon your arrival. Hooo-ahhhh!

Where would we all be right now if no soldiers were there to respond to the call! Prolly in the middle-east suffering from persecution and opression! PPl blaming the soldiers is just plain stupid! Our soldiers are doinng their duty!

Rob..U r the best... I noticed he wished us to be safe also.. I just didn't respond..as I wish more for his safety...for them already doing their service to keeep us safe.. And my mind is still spinning happily from talking to my Marine... You get the dizzies too after a conversation with your personal hero? I know it's hard for those involved with the soldiers, but imagine how hard it is for the soldiers being away from their partners? I wish you the best, sir. I hope you get break you deserve and continuing to be the better man for it!

hey rob thank you very much but i cannot accept money from you or anybody else its nothing personal and i thank you for the offer but this is my job and all i do is what is asked of me you all are great people and you are the ones that make our country a free country so for those that wished me luck and safety i am going to take the time and return the favor
