just put what you feel is right on your profile, dont go overboard though Sometimes I think I went overboard,but it gets me more attention than I can handle.So you are right, put in it what you feel.

but you don't have ANY information. my rule of thumb is if they don't have a picture and at least some info I won't even give them the time of day. its creepy if there is nothing. people are already feeling a bit more vulnerable on here than in the physical world. give 'em a little info

Maybe I should have named this help me create my profile I know I should put what I'm looking for and what I'm not looking for. I should give some basic information, but what information is valid on an online dating site? I read other profiles to try to get an idea and read the same things over and over, if I want the most out of my time on this site I need to stand out. Should I write my profile like a resume?

People want to know WHO YOU ARE, your profile is their doorway into that.You have good spelling and typeing skills, use them. Three times I have considered changing or shortening mine, so I go back and read it then think nope, leaveing it just like it is. Women that like your looks will sit and read every bit of it meticulously and thats how you will find someone. And stay in the forums, that will get you views.
