I love my job...not the work too much but I do love my co-workers. But what I didn't realize how much it is starting to become a freakin' Young and the Restless (I don't watch that show...I watch As the World Turns). Example: A recently divorcee gets "along" with her co-worker; a secret romance brews between the head wait staff and co-bartender (which seemed obvious); ex-co-worker gets arrested in another county and the head of the kitchen stresses over this (because they dated)...and so on. There's secrets and scandals, comedy and heart felt moments, envy and disputes...man I love my job!

Have any jobs like a soap opera? glasses

I consider myself as the comedian in the group. I love to make my co-workers laugh. I'm also a big flirt, but I do that for fun. devil

I work security part-time and for myself. Not drama there, unless Homeland security goes on amber alert or something

Working at a hotel (as I do) leaves no rest for the wicked when it comes to the staff... unless of course they want to rest their wicked ways in Room 326 or something during the day. . . <sigh> The rumors and innuendos are comedic. Sometimes.

No drama? Wah, that's not fun. glasses But I guess you will appreciate the drama when it arises...may be stupid or could be really good.

I would figure hotels would have a lot of drama. It's got everything...rooms, bars, secrets, janitor secrets, house keeping secrets, manager secrets...and more.

I hate it when one of your co-workers act one way and are all nice and sunshine when you are around and then you hear a different story from some one else that they really don't like you. What is wrong with people where they can't get along and just accept people the way they are no matter what their life style is or thier home life is like. Try walking a mile in thier shoes and see if your life is any better.
