I have rescued them before, sure. The ones in the basement get to stay... to eat the bugs I don't want in the house.
I did get bit in the shower once by a spider, which was pretty painful. But I'm pretty sure it did not lie in wait for me or anything, it just happens. |

would you rescue a spider stuck inside the tub if you were about to turn the faucet on? Actually happened to me a few days ago. I looked up and saw a spider on the ceiling above the shower. I screamed, ran out the shower, put on clothes while still wet (screw finding a towel), grabbed my daughter (who was in shock at mommy's behaviour) and bolted out the front door and went from apartment to apartment looking for a big strong guy to come kill the spider. Called some people, finally got a guy to come kill it, and after he kills it he brings it out to show me. I screamed so hard and ran so quick I accidentally knocked my daughter to the ground. Oops.... She got tons of ice cream and McDonald's and a mini shopping spree at Wal-Mart for that.
