Has any one been here recently...Im having fun but it seems like the Greeks are kinda rude(mostly Older people) people...Ive been all over Europe and this is the first time I have had this type of experience...This is the first European Country that I never have to visit or see again in life! Either they love ya and your having a blast or some one pushing you on the metro *shrugs* Im super pissed cause I brought my mom with me and its her first time over seas and Ive always said how laid back europeans are but now Im like ...Athens was nice, went to kalabaka and alot of rude old people. Im hittin the Island on the weekend so the jurys still out there...So what say yall?

lol plenty of that around Most of the guys my age are cool, they come up to your table and small talk, they stir alot lol...I dont think they see many Black American woman here...its so funny to see them stirring lol

I am half greek but have never been. If you are with someone from there it is totaly differant. Athens is only good for the history from what I know. The greek islands and beach are suppose to be good. I only know from what I have herd never been there.

no Im not going to santorini Im going to three Island that are close to Athens..I dont no the names of all but one is called Hydra..They have cruise leaving Athen daily so I figured I would check them out...Have you been to santorini?

I've been to Greece a few years ago, I'm sorry about what happened to you revolution, but you can expect that in the small towns and islands that aren't normally bombarded with tourists.

Some places are just very unwelcoming to anyone from the outside, others are just unwelcoming to minorities. Usually because there have been too many bad examples of minorities in Greece. It has nothing to do with you personally, but old narrow-minded people will stereotype and then hate.

I would suggest you check out Thessaloniki if you can. Absolutely beautiful city. I fell in love with it, even though my father is from Athens.

I didnt get a chance to do all I wanted to, I was only there for 8 days... I got to visit all the sites in Athens,Meteora in Kalabaka and the Islands of Hyda,Porus and Aegina. Over all I had a great time thanks to the love I got from the guys my mom said she really enjoyed herself, so other then the Euro kicking my butt for a week all is well...Thanks for the input friend
