I had backed my truck up to the dock.....the man then starts to tell me what the ##**@$#@ are you doing at my dock? I simply told him...I have this shipment for their company. He told me to get the ##$@%% out of there. I simply asked him to please,call the owner of the company. (He did call.) After that, the man was a changed man...offering to buy my dinner and any thing else I needed. (The shipment was for the owners daughter.) Have you had anything like this happen to you??

I agree. Dude was a total as* to you. And you were polite right back. You took the high, he took the low.

But, upon accepting the offer, kind of play it off, like whatever dude, okay. Be nonchalant when offering. Don't rub it in the guy's face. He feels ****ty enough as it is.

And during dinner, continue, no matter how hard, to be nice. You never know, you could have a new acquaintance.

wow... dont think i haqve ever had anything like that happen. But there all kinds of people out there.

part of my job is to go around and check boats that are the dock where i work at. i get there info and find out who told them if they can park there. i had one boat that was kinda mean at first but after talking to him telling what i was doing .. he offered me a steak ....i had said no only because i like to help my other coworkers .. he said not a problem come here for lunch and i set you up.. on man did he.. all week long i had steak,rabbit,chicken, i am still stuff from that lol
