well the guy turned out to be interested in one thing .... COMMISSION, COMMISSION, COMMISSION. Turned out he was a head hunter. Had 3 jobs for me: far end of Long Island (agency gets 25, Jayne gets 8; then 2 hrs into Conn (agency gets 30, Jayne gets 9; Rutherford, NJ (agency gets 25, Jayne gets 8). I wasn't even qualified for the three positions -- Insurance Sales Person and Underwriter. They were fill-ins and part-time. This guy had my resume right in his hand. He really blue smoke up my ass; very disappointed and lower than I've ever been.

Jayne he was one clown out of many oppurtunities that will find you soon. Look at how you knew how to read right through him and did what was right.

I know. But it hurt just the same. I'm taking a Civil Service test on Saturday for the City of Yonkers. I just hope I pass and God allows me an opportunity for a City job. By nature, I'm a very happy person all the time, but the last 2 months, I find myself getting depressed and I cry alot. Sometimes, I wish my ex was still here; despite his shortcomings he was always able to make me see and feel I was somebody (in a positive healthy way). I just wish his arms were around me when I cry.

Don't get down on the interview. Some of the lower class(scum) insurance companies Do a burn and dump of thier employees. You did good to relize it wasn't for you.
Don't get down in the mouth. It takes a while to get what you want.Heck, if you really need to get going, hit some of the better temp services. Atleast you will get a cash flow. And, possibly a good job offer.

Jayne the right one will come along for you, I know it isn't good to hear...but give it time. Do you have a WorkSource in your area?

I got the job Jayne. It's nothing big...sales associate at PETCO, but it'll be a very welcome change from my full time job.
Had a 5.5hr. PIAD training today...(after my day at the school job yesterday...was so glad to take a personal day to do this other...now if I can only find something to replace school job!). Store starts getting inventory in 2 weeks, I am scheduled to put in a few days then but not sure what the schedule will be after that. The manager said 15-20 hrs. a week...if he can't give me anything more once school is out for the summer, I may just look for a 3rd job.
