There ain't much that I can say
that hasn't been said before
All I know that babe it's getting late
and theres a need I can't ignore
for some time now I've had this thought
that could destroy everything we have
and god knows if we get caught
every breath for you may be my last
I have seen you walk into my dreams
everynight I've spent alone in thoughts of you
I swear your touch was made for me
from another voice you hear I love you
It just cannot be,you made a mistake
that I would never put you down for
but I will remind you until my dying day
that I still love you more


It can't be his eyes,because I know
that theres someone else on his mind
It can't be his heart,you're not there
because you're somewhere deep in mine
It can't be love,it's so impossable
because you were meant for me
everynight you lay beside him in bed
you close your eyes,i'm all you see



I've been thinking as time passes me by
will you someday feel these words that I write
I wish for once you'd see things my way
You tell me you love him,I don't buy it
There are things you can't hide from me
because you wouldnt be here in my arms tonight
if that was something I could believe
and he doesnt say the things I say to you
he never tells you the words I swear are true
I don't mean no harm,but you know better than this
Does he fall to his knees the way i do
Caressing your hair,saying babe I love you
this day was so long,my god how you were missed

I know I sound ridiculous,but maybe I'm not wrong

There was a time that I went through some very terrible pain because of something like this, but now that I look back on it and God giving me the strength along with very few friends that stood by me, I realized it was best it was over..

Thank you for the poem JT, it brought back memories of a time in my life when what seemed like defeat, turned out to be an amazing victory in the end...

Now there's a reason to love being a writer/This so reminds me of a show I played where people were in tears in the audience..it was quite an experience

I agree with you, we do write poems that touch others in some sort of way, sometimes loving, sometimes sad, sometimes giving hope, sometimes if for no other reason, but just to bring a smile to their faces
