Topic: i remember

there was a time when i knew you like my skin . . . when our scent was one . . . i remember. you were strong when i was not. .. and when you felt scared i was there . . . i remember. we held and gave and grew as one, in a way that . . . nothing and no one could make us two like we had been . . . i remember. that lifetime came and went . . . and here we are now, in a this one . . . our souls and bodies together again. i think we are so fortunate . . . no not think . . . i know. i know that God made us as one and it is one we will stay. this life we will hold more, this life we will give more, this life we will grow more, i know because . . . i am remembering us with each new minute that passes, and it is soon that i will know you like my skin . . . again.

I sit here and stare into my self As a mourning man would Lookin for the answers to appease my pain That I hold so deep within Letting go of all I hold so dear Watching from afar I see the answer With the pain from my examination The hatred that I hold within Keeps me from being one with them I am so cold with my divining cancer So sick with my own regrets I can only watch you as the fighting dancer I can’t help but feel like a marionette These strings are my chains That wrap around my mind Every thing I have tried only leaves me blind So I keep wandering through my self inflicted pain My only answers are held by a fighting dancer Who holds the chains that run through my veins And leaves me cold within as she only laughs and cries
