I don't understand the male species (well the ones I've met recently!)
Ok, I have had a few dates over the last couple of years and what I find difficult to understand is the men who, while on the date, tell me how nice I am, would like to get to know me, would like to go out with me again, and then never contact me!!!!!
I just can't understand their way of thinking, can anyone explain this strange ritual???????

I just checked.. and I'm not a guy but my opinion is they are trying to avoid a difficult conversation. It is easier to avoid than to be upfront and say "hey, I'm just not into you".

ok well here is what the deal is... hell really I dont know I would have contacted ya it would be a month or so before i would start ignoring ya have ot wait until after I had ya locked down then not give you as much time while i find another woman to play... currently I have 3 and in a couple weeks will start working on my 4th

I definately say stop seeking that sort of dude. Try guys you might not normally date, or try going against your instincts as to who you'd meet. Obviously what you are doing now is not working~ so you need to try something different.

actually i have my 2 cents to ad to this, i have never once in my life dated a girl and at the end of the date not told her exactly what i thought, sometimes i want more then she's got, sometimes she wants more then i got, sometimes we want different things.

but after all these similar threads about how guys do this and girls do that, it seems to me that the girls seem to run away with no explanation and pull a lot dirtier stunts then us men.

i've had roomates tell me they didn't want to talk to me
i've been lied to about having to leave town
i had a friend meet a girl for a second date when she had another guy there to tell him for her.
i've had all the normal wrong numbers, fake numbers, old numbers
and a lot of other things that probably would make women cry for days if we did that to them



all i hear about guys is they don't call back, with or without sex.......

It could be a couple of things-

- they could either not be into you and they don't want to hurt your feelings (as was stated earlier)

- they could have trouble expressing themselves. This could be because they're afraid of showing their inner emotions, or they've put up walls from previous bad relationships, etc. (this is something I have a bit of a problem with)

- they could also just be scared to death of calling you back, as they fear you might rip their heart out and stomp on it. There's a lot of fear and trepidation involved with dating, you know.

If you're into the fella that much, and you have his phone number, try breaking with tradition and give HIM a call. If nothing else, you'll find out why he hasn't called you.
