Hello everyone I posted something earlier yet everyone again just bypassed it like it didn't exist. I find it funny. Perhaps I write too much and should keep it shorter? lol I think you are just too reasonable, and polite. Who can argue with your reasoning? Not me. If you want quick responses, smiles, I would have to suggest that you be more argumentative, like Funches, or opinionated, or stubborn etc. But stay just the way you are. In fact...I only addressed 2 things and gave both sides It was only a small percentage of Christians. I don't think Abra meant to imply that all Christians backed him, he just said "Look at all the ones who do.." I'm sure just as many Christians found his remarks out of line as the ones who backed them. But to say that prayer bothers people in not the issue here. This was a public and Political platform. That they even asked anyone to pray surprises me. They eliminated public prayer in schools didn't they? They should eliminate it in congress and other political platforms. The alien gods love for countries and human leaders to proclaim that they are "under God" because they are claiming to be "God." This means that when these alien beings return to take control of the Planet, they will be the Gods we are "under." JeannieB ty JB but it was this line I was referring to And it works! ok i just saw there is a great debate about christians not helping the poor. I see flaw there. One thing is helping poor people another thing is supporting laziness.
In my country we have beggars all over the place. One day I decided to do something with one of them. I told him let's go to my house. I have a couple of things that need to be done. I'll pay you 100 dollars for the day (American value of money ofcourse). I will give you food. I will send you home with some groceries. And I will give you some clothing for you to wear. He got mad really upset. He just wanted me to give him money, without working. And he was a perfectly able person around 45 years old. SO that is my point if we are going to help people with welfare we need to make sure they deserve or they qualify for it. If not the government would be just a beneficency instution and not what it suppose to be. |
