Wow! I love concerts but I have seen so many it is hard to say which is my favorite. My first concert was Elvis Presley in Las vegas it was really good. It was in the early 70's my dad flew our family there on vacation. Working for an airline allowed me to see some pretty awesome shows. Elvis was recently divorced from Priscilla and he cried when he sang Suspicious Minds and In the Ghetto. Women in the audience actually did throw their underwear to him and stuff.

So many good ones but two always seem to standout. The Who in 1973 on the Quadrophenia tour in Madison Square Garden and the first time I saw Dylan. It was in '75 also at the Garden when he reunited with the Band.

AER0SMITH 2000 -2003? was the last one. Just Push Play. It rocked! Steven Tyler looked F.I.N.E. Fine! Aerosmith rocks! Saw them in Boston and Atlanta several times. Saw Candlebox in Atlanta a few months ago...Saw Queensryche in Philadelphia last year and Godsmack in Evansville Indiana just before that. Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon tour in 1974 probably had the best effects and laser show I ever saw but Metalica was the very last concert performed at the Omni in Atlanta before it was imploded and their show was awesome too. The Eagles Hotel California tour. Led Zepplin The Wall tour, The Rolling Stones Licks tour, wow there are so many because I am getting old Elton John, Billy Joel, Van Halen, AC/DC, Billy Idol, Jackson Brown, Lynrd Skynrd, Alice Cooper, Tom Petty, Foghat, Ozzie Osbourne, Atlanta Rythm Section, Tina Turner, Black Sabbath, Kiss, Robin Trower, Hall & Oates, Cher, Heart, 38 Special, Elvin Bishop, Neil Young, Bob Segar, Boston, Kansas, Johnny & Edgar Winter, ZZ Top, Charlie Daniels, Journey.... sorry so long I'll shut-up now... |
