Felo de se
The Sun spilled her glory unto the horizon, waking all those to be awoken, Warming all those to be awake, chilled from the night. With a faint smell of coffee beans, A smile found its way upon my face. How sweet the air taste, How soft the ground felt. the love birds song, Coaxing me into a trance, Rememboring the days, To perfect to be true, A care only for love, Never wanting the tears, The tears that came so few, To perfect the day seemed, Though how perfect, It really was. the sun rose to show her might, to carry out her daily duties. A smile found it way upon my face, How perfect it was, To see her rise, once more. (Felo de se means "Fellon of himself" to commit suicide back in early English was considered a felon and a shameful death, hope you like this better than my "A day to dream" and "a nights Disappointment." you look the meaning at wikipedia.com, type in "felo de se" it should come up) |
