Ok, here's my two cents.

If there was a magic button to rapture the beleivers to a heavenly
state, would i press it? No.

Why?

The most incredible act of love is the creation of a vacuum where God
didnt exist. It must be similar to the feeling a woman feels when she
knows she has conceived. Think of it this way, before the moment of
creation there was only God, but, God willed a vacuum from his presence
to make room for independent intelligence to be formed.

Its a grace that we are distinct and seperate from God. Its a moment to
be alive, to have the power to create life, to destroy it, to foster it
and share those miraculous powers with other beings. Sure, we're limited
in time, ability and scope, but, we're all given the chance to be
independent of God - out of sheer grace.

So, no, I wouldnt take away the moment of grace that we all share in
being alive and distinct in Creation.
