How do we go about getting a chat room here? doe's anyone know?

they have to add it to the website there are free webchats available or
used to be I have suggested hooking up on mirc on a server I know one a
buddy of mine owns and it's a good safe place but no-one has responded
mirc is too cool lots of fun but whatever I still have on several
servers and serveral channels plus you can send files through there like
' pics, songs, movies hell anything.

don't know, but if it happen, it would be great

but if anyone decides to get on any irc I would suggest a good firewall
don't rely on windows built in firewall if you have XP lol

I like the Forum format better and I think if you add a Chatroom it
could kill the Forum...

Just my thoughts(but I haven't been on too many places)

chat rooms are hard to keep up with. its near impossible to read past
replys i like this format much better.

Howdy 4fun, I think we talked to vanchu about this and he was saying
that a chat room would kill a LOT of topics we see here on the forum.
Beside, you can always go to the post and read it. If you're not present
in the "chat" romm, you miss it!

this is better then a chat room, I mean here you can go to work and come
back to the same topic if you want to!!

I love chatrooms so much easier for everyone to talk at the sametime and
more fun, but forums can be fun in their own way

one thing that's fun to do in chat and wouldn't be the same here either,
and that's trivia, I run a trivia bot and it spits out hints give you so
much time between hints and then reveals the answers if no-one guess,
tallies point for each player and keeps player rankings.

umm..party line? what do you think the bar thread is about? it's a
group of ppl that don't want drama, that would rather just sit at their
pc's and BS with everyone, have fun, and joke around..

you can still talk about more "serious" topics in a chat room, and you
can still have "private chat" in a chat room..

there's nothing wrong with having a chat room here, i do agree it just
might make the forum less active, cuz everyone would be in the chat room
instead..

i think the forum would be more of a sounding board for everyone's
opinion, instead of just "chating" on it

can you keep the forums and have private chat rooms? the best of both
worlds... i don't know, i'm not a comp techie... but i would prefer a
chat room...

When we get bigger we may try out the chat room. We are worried about
it making the forums a ghost town... among other things
