Welcome to parenthood Sanjeev! You have hit what we Americans have coined the terrible two's!!! That is how they normally act at that age. You need to be patient but firm. Have you ever heard of time out?

If he's sweeping, I'd show him how to use a mop, too... your kitchen will be spotless in no time!

he might not know how to express what's wrong so he cries. if it gets too much...take deep breaths

yep the terrible twos ..ok i work in childcare alot of this is attention seeking and fustration, they want to try new stuff quicker than there bodies are letting them so they get fustrated on top of that they are learning to push boundaries...time out in a quiet place for two minutes..if he gets back up you must pick him up and put him back there so he understands thats where he goes if he oversteps the mark again , be firm and explain simply why hes sat there, then when the two minutes are up get him to say sorry and hugs and kisses...keep doing this and be firm hun good luck

Jace ur a nut! Good idea! Just a thought... lol I went through the 2's with my son. He was actually pretty good..everyone tells me I got off easy.. hmm... I DO remember just giving a lot of hugs, and doing stuff with him as much as possible. Even when he would cry... <shrug> And yeah, deep breaths help a lot! |

Mine is 9 and I still take lots of deep breaths lol!

Is he hungry, bored, tired??? Something contributes to it in most cases..
Their attention span at this time is so small, you have to be creative. Change it up... |

when he is crying he slaps every body ahead of himvery badly he's frustrated and doesn't know how to get across why. Maybe take him...sit him in time out and let him calm down...then go to him and have him calmly tell you what is wrong |

ya, but he never listen to any one just cyring and repating himself
