On a serious note.... I'd generalize that women might get asked out more only due to the traditional roles. That does not make it easier. I think the actual dating itself is just as hard for both.

I don't ever get asked out. I think when generalizing we should say "attractive women". Because none of this applies to women who are not attractive. We are just as lonely as the men - who, ironically, only want to date attractive women.
