Topic: HOW MANY HOURS OF LABOR?? | |
---|---|
Yes, that it's - Pitocin. It's downright mean to give that to a woman, I'm telling you. They gave it to me 4 hours into labor. And I still was feeling it 24 hours later. I say we give it to the person who invented it! For days... and days... |

I thought I had heartburn, may have felt one or two contractions but that was all for me; high risk, breech delivery, c-section
come to think of it I should have had a lot more kids, no pain, woke up to a beautiful baby girl!!! |

um...with my first, i went into labor at about 8 PM on friday...and had her sunday morning at the second 1:10 AM (she was born on the time change, literally). most was hard labor, and i pushed for about three-four hours...she was sunny-side-up, so it took longer than it would have. forceps, vacuum, that sort of thing...
my second...wow. i was due on december 27th, went into labor on december 31st...and had her on january 22nd. for that entire stretch, i was under five minutes in contractions...we had just moved, it was a high risk pregnancy, and i couldn't find a new OB/GYN to deliver. the hospital just kept sending me home until my water broke. my third was induced, and we checked in at five that morning...she was out by nine that night. fast and easy. my fourth was 48 hours and fifteen minutes...went into labor during my bio lab...had my baby shower that evening...then went home. checked into the hospital the next day...that night, they broke my water. six the next morning, they started pitocin as well...and she was born at 2:15 in the afternoon. |
