I love music as well but I can always feel the vibrations if I were deaf......and I can read lips!!! <----slightly deaf!!!

id lose my mind if wasnt for music what about you? Beethoven was deaf. That lady movise star is deaf, starts with an "M". She is now on dancing with the stars. It's amazing what deaf people learn to do. Kat

I'd rather be deaf. I love music, but I could go with out it. I would go crazy without seeing the world...especially baseball games. I would die if I couldn't watch another one, lol.

I'd rather be deaf for sure. At least you can see the beauty in the world around you and I agree about the baseball thing I'd go crazy if I could only hear it.

that wld suck, but i think i would rather be deaf, if I had to choose. I wld miss driving my car and seeing things. Plus, if ur were deaf and somebody made u mad, u cld just ignore them

I'd rather go blind than go deaf, but if it's from birth I'd rather be deaf than be blind. Because I would have wanted to know colors etc.

hmm didnt really consider the difference in being born blind or deaf and it happening later in life being born blind you wouldnt have all the hang ups that come with seeing

I can't live without books. I'd rather be deaf. Books on tape! / Braille (is that the right spelling?)
