Obama has come out and said that he is against allowing GIs under 21 to drink. This country seems to be able to make special exceptions for various groups of which I think Mr. O must be obvious. Personally I think he is wrong. If they are old enough to die for their country then they are old enough to drink. Coming from Mr. O who has never served in the military of this country I find his comment totally unacceptable. I'm not a GI, just an old veteran sticking up for my younger brothers.

That makes total sense to me....you're right....if he or she is old enough to take a bullet....he or she should be able to shotgun a beer....or whatever they might drink....

Old enough to get shot at, to be responsible for gov't equipment then you're old enough to down a beer.

If you're stationed in Germany and you're under 21 you can legally drink.

I also have to say that if you are going to serve OUR country and put your life on the line, then you are old enough to drink.. Some of these congressmen that have NEVER served OUR country need not say what these men and women can do while they are serving our country... that is not saying that they can go out and run crazy, but lets be reasonable about this...
