The question I have is why would you ever feel anyone is out of your league? Confidence is sexy!

What's scarier, taking the minute to dial the number take a deep breath and saying hello, or possible missing out on the love of your life, all the happiness that your dreamt of, living in regret that you let one phone call stand between you and the future you want....

I'll try and keep this short but im not even sure where to begin.

so i've been chatting on here with a certain lady for a few weeks now and things seem to going in the direction i'd like them too. We've both verbally made it clear there is interest and attraction, love and by the coversations and topics and no i'm not even talking about sex. Thats maybe come up 3 times in our hundreds of conversations. Ofcourse there is tons of flirting going on... and we are both looking for a relationship... Not to mention shes smart.. Fantastic right!!!

So this is where it gets interesting.... We don't live in the same state, ok cool i'm in the process of selling my place to move out of this area anyway. She even invited me to stay with her. Great right? I think..

Well heres the kicker I feel like shes out of my league.. She gave me her # but I cant get myself to call her... WTF??? I've never been so awestruck by a woman and yet afraid.. any thoughts

STOP THAT RIGHT NOW!!!
I have been told that very same thing a couple times, 'you are out of my league'...I HATE THAT LINE. Why not let us ladies make that decsion for ourselves ~ PLEASE!!!???

From what you have just told us, all seems good. You never know until you try. And if you pass her by you could be passing up the best thing you could've had.

CALL HER!!!

Shutterbug is right. Let the lady make the call about whether or not you're the right for her.

What's the worst that can happen here? The worst thing that can happen is she'll decide she doesn't want to hear from you anymore....but she's not doing that.

However, before you get to far into this budding relationship, a word of warning. Something like this happened to me. No, I wasn't too nervous to call. That's not it.

I met a woman online years ago. The more we chatted the fascinated I was with her. Then we started talking on the phone and later we agreed to meet. To make a long story short, we fell in love.

After a few trips by plane to see her and have wonderful romantic rendevous, I arranged to move to be with her. It was great for a while. Then things happened that told me that she wasn't quite the wonderful person I thought she was.

We wound up breaking up a year and a half later, but not after a lot of financial losses for me and other problems.

Here's my advice and take it for what it's worth. Tread carefully here. She may seem like the woman of your dreams but realize that when she's on the phone and later when you meet her, she'll be on her best behavior.

You won't see the other parts of her that you might notice if you had a dating relationship with a woman who lived close. If she seems to avoid topics like money that need to be discussed thoroughly if you're going to be together then you need to really watch out!!

In a long distance you can get mislead...easily. So call her, have fun, but be careful. OK?

All this anticipation of getting to the phone call is much more dramatic than making the actual call.

The butterflies in the stomach, the wondering if you'll have anything to say, the wondering of whether or not she'll like your voice... or that you'll like hers... it all goes away in that first phone call. At least the fear of it does.

If you've had lots of great conversations, she'll like your voice. You'll find stuff to say. Don't trip.. just do it.

she lives on the west coast and gets up real early.... so that would be a negative. I know... y'all can form a line to kick me in the ass later... lol

I should add I don't think it a confidence issue... could be wrong... I seriously have NEVER been in this position with a woman of her stature. I'm just not used to it.

What each of you do for a paycheck has nothing to do with any chemistry between you...
I vote for calling her...she gave you her number didn't she????

However, I would not be moving across the country and into her home after a few weeks of emailing, etc.!! But do start with the phone call!!
