The Final Tally
When the trail has finally ended, and the day is finally done, and a man can guage his passing, by the notches in his gun... Did he resist an oft temptation, to even up the score? Or squander life's affections, and go thirsting after more? Did he ever help a stranger, or divvy up his last? Would he change one errant action, now the mold has done been cast? Would he resist his natural compulsion, to be quicker on the draw? Would he embrace a quickening sunset, and revel in its' awe? Would he take what God had gave him, and be thankful for the same? Or would he cast out for excuses, and someone else to blame? Did he friendly up a stranger, or give and take enough? Did he play the hand God gave him, or only run a bluff? With Equescent thoughts...
