JUST remember: In Texas you CANT shoot someone in the back - BUT you can shoot them in the back of the legs until they turn around. 
Or... You can invoke "fleeing felon", or "mischief after dark", and shoot 'em in back of the head until they stop running.

I cannot support the Death Penalty, it is murder by another name in my opinion. I respect your opinion, but do not believe it is murder. Murder is malicious. Interesting fact: Death certificates of the condemned list the cause of death as "homicide." So I guess if one's definition of murder is the mere death of one at the hands of another then OK. In Texas cop-killers go to the head of the line. We not only have the death penalty, we have an express lane. I guess opinion depends on how much value you place on all human life, killings are killings as far as I am concerned. I don't believe in euthanasia either, mercy killings, some societies seem more focussed on elimination of, rather than cures for, all its woes. Fortunately for me, I live in a country (the UK) that does not have either the Death Penalty or Voluntary Euthanasia. |
