this was given to me when i was baby.. (PEE WEE) and the reason is i was a pre me and i was a month early so they called me that for along time...and every now and then one of mom sisters will call me that. and she did
 it one day and i gave her a snarl look..

my mom ex bf (R.I.P) he died about 3-4yrs ago he used to call my daughter peanut. and i think it was because she was small when she was a baby. she 25yrs old now and deffently now small.. my mom nickname for my son is curious george and it fits him
