Try being a divorced 30 something woman with 3 kids. I can hardly get a man to glance in my direction. And mention the kids on a date and you will see men looking for the nearest exit!

I don't know what to say here.
For me... The older I get the better luck I have in this. I'd probably be a bit depressed and puzzled too..If my best chances were when I was a kid. Back then, I was pretty awkward in every way. Like a big puppy tripping all over myself. |

For me the older I got the more I attracted. I think it has to do with how a person feels about themselves and their confidence. I have no problems attracting, my problem is I always pick the bad one in the bunch and end up breaking up with them.
I have been working on myself to try to figure out why I do this. I think I have a thing for the underdog but I fail to realize some people want to remain underdogs, it works for them. All my help and support never helps them any.

My mother calls me a 'fixer'... lol The most uncomfortable thing I person could do to another is assume they can change them, or that they need changing in the first place. That's the most arrogant kind of manipulation there is - and yes, this is the Pot calling the Kettle black. *sigh* This much I have learned about myself - just thought it might help.

Well when we were younger we may not have been as picky as we are now. Some women would go after any decent looking man they saw,but now we know what we want and don't want to settle. I am told that I am to picky, but if I plan on spending the rest of my life with the guy, he needs to match darn near perfect to my wants in a man. I thought I had the right guy, untill his oldest son got him into a certain activity ( to long to explain it) that mainly 20 somethings play and now that is more improtant than reality. A mid life crisis I guess.
