She definately made an impact on everyone whom she had the pleasure of meeting. She had a big heart.

Well my grandma passed away last night at 6:30. I was there with her, and she died peacefully. On wednesday night I got a chance to talk to her alone. She told me how she was proud of me, and wished me the best in life, and she hoped my health problems were over with. She said my son is a miracle and that she loves us both. I said we loved her to. She said her goodbyes that night. I feel at peace. Her composure was angelic...no tears, just love. She died peacefully surrounded by her family. Now she is in heaven (Im sure smooching my grandpa ). I will miss her so much. I have always tried so hard to make her proud. She is my pillar of strength....my HERO. I hope to someday be half the woman she was.

Her funeral is on wednesday, visitation on tuesday. Im a pallbearer & I was asked to sing. Its going to be so hard to burry the woman who had such a big part in raising me.

I was saddened to read of your loss, its not easy to bury anyone,but your grandmother will always be with you in spirit and memory. When my husband passed away I had to keep his memory for my twins and continued a nightly ritual that he did with them before they went off to bed. He would always kiss them good night and say "night night sweeties Daddy loves you" Well I kept that alive with me telling our twins that, and its helped me, maybe there is something you remember your grandmother did or said that you can carry on

Pray for strength to honor your Grandma with your gift of song and lift up your family with your praise It is hard to do, I read my brothers words he had written about going home at his funeral, it was hard but I asked him to have my back and made it through-you will as well. She always liked my singing, its going to be hard not to choke up...Ive already choked up trying to practice. But I figure that if I cant get a note out everyone will understand.

I'm pretty new here, and I don't know you.
But I know how you're feeling, I lost my grandma, who was also my best friend, 2 days before xmas.
Just always remember, she is watching over you and your son and she is always going to be there for you.
