Fact is different generation we were raised in, used to be all a man had was hard work and his reputation(honor & work ethic), now doesn't matter-less hardships I just finished a 3.6 million dollar project on a handshake. Granted I have been doing business with this company for a long time, but it is still a great feeling to not sign a contract until the project is 90% or better done, lol |

Honesty??? Most people dont want honesty...they want 'nice'.

No offense, but people shouldn't be stupid and ask stupid questions. tact is just another form of lying see, i don't agree. and really, it shouldn't increase the time that much. ..and i wrote out more, but it's 3am and i'm tired. up at 7. thing is, tact isn't a lie. tact isn't a white lie. tact is truth, but thoughtfully illistrated for the listener to handle it better. you can't just tell someone they smell like ass and have **** breath, you might have to soften that one down if you care about keeping that relationship |

I see where you are coming from, however.... my being 'nice', may be your rude....who knows? But the one thing for sure is ...it's my truth, however it's gift wrapped. i agree with your point, i agree fully. i often speak without thinking about how my words might be taken, i'm just saying what i'm thinking. sometimes i lack a filter. but if you know someone and know how they deal with things, how your relationship works. there's no reason why you shouldn't present your truths in the most understandable manner for them. |
