Because as children we were brutally honest, but society taught us to lie. We are to lie to save others feelings, and be p/c. Sorry, but I don't do it. No p/c here, no lie. If you ask the damn question you really should be ready for the answer. the way you say it makes it rude, can always be honest and not rude but to some people just not telling them what they want to hear is rude. If you tell the truth, the people will turn on you. Everyone is in sheep mode, and taught that everything is as they see it. You cannot rock the boat and come off as a nice guy. I gave up on that long ago |

i can admire someone that can just say they want just sex as opposed to someone lying to get it. I may not like or agree with the truth but will always respect it

if the other person can't handle the truth (in best Jack Nickelson voice) then that is their problem. if you lie or play games...then how can the other even try to deal with it?

Yes I do that from time to time. Nasty habit I know why is it so difficult for people to be honest? I'm not talking about when your grnadmother asks if you like the ugly sweater she gave you. I'm talking about plain honesty. why is it so hard to open your mouth and speak? any thoughts? probably already been said... but it's fear some people also have lies as their defensive reaction when they get into ****. honesty is hard, and so is always showing someone how much you respect them |
