People that know me are used to it. Even before the internet was a factor. My work took me all over the country.

Define 'relationship'?

Friends online...yes, made the best of them. Met some, talk to a bunch, etc.

Boy/girl dating, etc relationship, can meet online, but relationship (for me) cannot be real until you meet in person.

Sure I tell friends, they think I am nuts anyway.

Nope. I actually married the guy. Everyone thought I was nuts... until they met him... now they think he's great.

People need to learn to think outside the box and not worry so much what everyone else thinks.

Why wouldn't you tell people? What is wrong with it? How many people are hooking up via the internet everyday? Lots!!! Is there a stigma attached that I do not know about? And even if there was why would you care what anyone else thinks if you find the one out here?

 Life here and real life should be the SAME.
So if I met someone here and went forward with meeting them and we were cool, then I would tell all and any about me finding a great person here..
I live my life with no secrets and talk with my adult kids all the time about MANY people I have met here and dates I've had through here...noway Thats called, being real with LIFE!

IMHO when someone asks a question like that it is because they have doubts. Why bother asking otherwise? I know you say it is just a conversation starter, but he is no doubt interested where the conversation will lead.

Dude I had an online relationship result into a 7 year marriage before most people knew that cyberlife was a separate culture.

Do not assume you know what I'm thinking.

On-line relationships can eventually go to the next level. I had a 9 month internet relationship with my husband before we ever met face to face. For 9 months the people I told had nothing but negative things to say.
