we now have 8 marines facing prosecution for killing some iraqi
civillians, lets just lock up bagdad and charge the civillians with
killing our military personel, then what would all the poor people of
that hostile country do.

mtironroses, your son as well as every soldier is there because Saddam
Hussein ruled his country in a way that caused hardship and death to the
very people that he shoud have protected and cared for. Allowing his
Country to grow in the same way that this Country and others do when
their leadiers care for their Countrymen. They are NOT there because of
the OIL like some say. Pres. Bush said that " Today that he received
something that he denied the people of his own Country, That was
JUSTICE." Let's hope that this year ends with just the death of Saddam
Hussein, and that 2007 starts with the Countries that still believes in
terrorism comes to terms with other countries so we can live in peace.

there for saddam, he was just an excuse

i think he was an excuse but i couldn't really care less about the news
of his death. at the risk of sounding like a supporter i will say that i
think he handled the situation surrounding his execution well by
releasing statements to his loyalists asking them not to cause any
violence and speaking out on the sectarian violence that has been
occuring over there.

his death has no influence on the way you and i live but it does make it
dangers for our children that are there. i pray for them daily. risking
there lives for a worthless war not one child is worth all of irak and
its oil.
we are a powerfull country withgood hearted ppl and if we knew all of
the truth we would be impeaching our pres.(bush) and charging him with
all the children lost.

Amen, horseracer!! I fully support our troops. These people are carrying
on with their orders and dying in the name of freedom. They have nothing
but the most honorable of intentions. May God bless them all. Bush, on
the other hand, is a dishonorable and deceptive man who will hopefully
pay for his sins. There is a lot of blood on his hands, which I think in
some ways likens him to Saddam or Osama.........God Bless our troops!!
