| Topic: Sometimes i wounder about "friends" | |

Was SUPPOST to meet up with my boss and some friends for coffee tonight. I get out the door and call my friends to let them know i am on my way and they tell me they changed the meeting location. I let them know "hey I don't really have the fuel to drive too far" they say its no biggy and to meet up at yet ANOTHER location thats SOMEWHAT closer but not by much.
I get to the location and they call saying they went to the location they decided to earlier. I just said screw it and went home. Stopped at the local pub and got a drink before coming home. REALLY pisses me off they pulled this crap. Makes me wounder if they are really my friends or keep me around as some sort of joke they can look back and laugh at. All i know is i am tired, fustraited and annoyed.  I'm waiting for my boss to call to see if her and I are going to get together for a coctail to discuss work or not but right now I couldn't care less if i even got fired right now. |

GAS requires $$$ and i have NONE. I had to dig into my couch for enough change for Coffee. Frell i don't even know how in the Heck I'm suppost to get to work on Monday. |

they could have been drunk already, they could of had a whiner with them. Don't put the blame on yourself, if you feel like they take you for granted, then get new friends. Most of the time when stuff like this goes down, it's just that they wasnt thinking clearly.
Don't let them mistake your kindness for weakness, keep you head up, your a beautiful person with a lot to offer. If they can't see that, that's their fault. |

next time wait til they are where they want to be. I can't afford gas either. I'm retired on disability. I guess a bicycle is next for me. Sorry they did you that way!!
