Tonight was a night I wish I was deaf. I work in a coffee shop and we get a lot of "special" people that come in. And this one guy will sit and talk to you all night if you let him. I will be in the back trying to do something and there he will be calling my name. Or he will ring the call bell just to get me to come back out so he can continue talking to me. I discovered that if you give him something to do it keeps him quiet .....for the most part anyways. So it is kinda nice cause he ends up sweeping and mopping the store for me.

Then there was this other customer that every two seconds she wanted me to heat up her coffee for her. Yet another one that does not know when to shut up. She too will call me out just to talk to me.

Then there were these three teens that came in, and I guess one of them took the others Coke or something cause every 5 seconds all I heard was give me back my Coke, give me back my Coke, give me back my Coke. I finnaly said enough and just gave him another damn can of freaking Coke.

I am so glad to be home where it is QUIET!

OK, sorry I just really needed to vent tonight. Complaining stops here!

I used to manage a starbucks, I remember quite well "those" people you refer to. I had to ban certain people from the store cause they literally talked the customers ears off.

The first guy was dancing on top of a snow bank and singing to the cars as they drove by. He even added some air guitar as well.

my store is part of a mall.. so once the mall closes on a friday or saturday night.... all the little teeni boppers flock over..... frappucino after frappucine.... its hell

I opened the store one morning on a Saturday, and I had the door open getting ready to take the table and chairs out, and this bum came inside and asked for some hot water in his cup. I was feeling nice that day, so I took the cup, and looked inside and it was full of cigarette butts and matchsticks. I asked him why he needed water and he said it was tea.

you sure you aren't working for a preschool?

It did suck making those when you got really busy and kept having to rinse the blenders out.

Especially when people like me came in demanding milkshakes, and you don't even really make milkshakes, but I insist on a milkshake anyway, but then when i get the milkshake i'm all like "i don't like this milkshake, this is not quality milk" and just throw it away...

Sad part is, I'm not just bizarre online. I'm a fu**ing freak man, so a lot of this crap I talk about, I've actually done either on a dare, or for s**ts and giggles...

Here, if you have a milkshake, and I have a milkshake, and I have a straw. There it is, that's a straw, you see? Watch it. And my straw reaches across the room and starts to drink your milkshake, I drink your milkshake! I drink it up!!!

I would love to hang out with you for a day. I am sure you would be a blast.
