As I walk this path
in my journey through life
I've seen unbelievable things
with my own two eyes

Sometimes the words
that some people say
leave you feeling so empty
you accept that's just their way

I'm sorry i'm not big
I'm sorry i'm not small
I'm sorry my hair
isn't the right color at all

I can't help who I am
God made me this way
I just go through my life
I take it day by day

But sometimes their words
cut you so deep
you hang your head down
you begin to weep

You look up to heaven
and you say a soft prayer
because you know he will listen
you know that he cares

At least I know in God's eyes
I won't be rejected
for God loves me for me
I will always be accepted

With these words I now part
and I leave them with you
i'm sorry you feel
the way that you do
