I would have to say ninjas myself. Pirates are loud and you can smell them 20 miles away. They'd never hear the ninjas coming.

Pirates do have grog though... that could be a bit much even for a skilled ninja to contend with...

Ninjas definitely, stealth wins every time. If you can't hear or see it coming, you can't stop it.

Ninjas, because a pirates wouldn't know what to do. Ninjas can hide in the shadows. But a ninja/pirate would be cool.

Is a ninja on a boat? cause pirates stay out at sea right.. so if a pirate is on land a ninja would win. But take a ninja out to sea and its a whole other ball game.
