These are my thoughts
sometimes i'm scared
sometimes in the face of oblivion
my eyes begin to stare

I sometimes see myself on a path
that never seems to go anywhere
why do I keep trying
why should I even care

What happens to us
that try to make a difference
we fade away in time
without any remembrance

But still we keep trying
because with each new dawn
God gives us the strength
to somehow carry on

We never ask for help
our hearts we never hide
hoping one day someone will notice
the feelings we have inside

We understand
this is the way things are
but if someone would look deep enough
they would see a shinning star

If that day never comes
I will know it's not to be
I will keep being who I am
even when no one notices me
