The Golden Blues

The blue jay, with the golden crest,
Sings the golden blues.
The saddest song you've ever heard,
Born from tears you loose.

The blue jay sings of haunting dreams,
that end before their time.
Of happiness that was never felt,
...with lyrics that don't rhyme.

It's golden crest grows dimmer,
With each soft note it plays,
It's wings they molt with sadness,
It's heart's left in a daze.

The golden blues are finally done,
The last note much to high.
The blue jay flutters to the ground,
To sad to even fly.

The last teardrop rolling down it's face,
Sheds all the pain and sin.
A soft crack issues, is heard from the nest,
And the song begins again.

It is the season of blue
Where life is passioned red
Seeing how the gold diplays
To keep ones life at best

The green is keeping planted
And rose brambles on its fence
Royal wears his purple
For thanksgiving makes most sense.

Colors, hues and bleeding,
Fading into breath.
Birth gives death its purpose.
As love gifts heart's true wealth
