I am confused, your profile says you are not looking for an intimate enncounter so why would age matter? You should be in the mocasins of a 59year old soon to turn 60 and see what that looks, and feels like...OUCH I say go for the make over...underneath all that hair is probably a very youthful looking man. I say shake things up a bit and head to the barber.

No Clarkie - don't send him to the barber - that hair is great. He has an incredible heart and truly cares about people. I understand about feeling old, I am only a couple of years behind you.
He will find someone great, just takes time. Some days you just wonder if it will ever happen. Hang in there Shadow - don't cut the hair, heck streak it if you want to make a statement. That would draw attention.
