Topic: The Common Rule of Inconsistencies | |

'God' is all loving...
BUT 'God' hates that which 'God' created... This is an unmistakable inconsistency... 'God' is perfect... BUT 'Gods' creation is not... This is an unmistakable inconsistency... 'God' is the creator of all things... BUT 'God' did not create all things... This is an unmistakable inconsistency... 'God' is omniscient... BUT 'God' learns... This is an unmistakable inconsistency... Just as profound as the Golden Rule is the Common Rule... The Common Rule is as follows... One can only hate that which is a living part of one's self... |

What wish you man are you debunking religion or something?

Chillin:
I suppose one could see it that way... There have been wonderful things done within many I know as a direct result of an exposure to religion(s), myself included... I am just keepin' it real. |

Creative Clarify the last statement on there for me. I try not to hate anything but I do not hate that that is part of my living being as far as I know so please clarify that for me.

Its very good to ask questions and if you notice a contradiction its very wise to aknowledge them and have questions.

'God' is all loving... BUT 'God' hates that which 'God' created... This is an unmistakable inconsistency... I'm going to assume you mean the God of the Bible, since you don't seem to feel the need to attack any other Gods. If I'm wrong, then my apologies. Can you quote a verse that means God hates his creation? 'God' is perfect... BUT 'Gods' creation is not... This is an unmistakable inconsistency... A human is living, but a chair (which is created by humans) is not, therefore a human cannot be living. Your logic is a little flawed there my friend. Where did human imperfections come from? Free will. Would humans have been perfect without free will? No, because God's goal was to create free moral agents. 'God' is the creator of all things... BUT 'God' did not create all things... This is an unmistakable inconsistency... Just pure silliness. The Bible doesn't say that God created everything which exists. The Bible is clear that all evil springs from the hearts of men. 'God' is omniscient... BUT 'God' learns... This is an unmistakable inconsistency... Not in the least. God knows all things which have happened, are happening or will happen. I have asked you this question many times and you have yet to answer, if God knows everything, regardless of if it will happen or not, why do we need to exist? |

Hiya dragoness...
If one hates anything, it is a result of an emotionally and spiritually unprocessed internalization. Should one complete such a processing, the understanding gained allows them to disarm that button which remained directly connected to the emotionally charged and egotistical self. Thereby disarming the hate that was previously created within, which had remained covered and/or forgotten until that button got pushed... once again. If one is dead to the situation or notion which was once hated, then the hate is also dead... When one gains this understanding, the hated becomes the dead, no longer alive within... |

I semi understand you. Now if one hates that which it sees as an evil of man. Not really hating man but hating the actions of man from this form of "evil" that one percieves. Can this be resolved through the process you stated? I am using my pet peeve of negative prejudice in humans that I see daily. I am really riled by it. I try to be calm as I know that aggravation never solves anything but I have difficulty staying calm. This is the closest I come to hate. I cannot see myself coming to a point of acceptance in this instance. So using the analogy you posted. My button is pushed because of something inside of me, true. I believe in treating all equally. I fight a battle not necessarily of mine personally but I think all should feel compelled to battle for those unavailable to battle for themselves or unable to battle for themselves. So what would be unprocessed? Will I ever want to stop doing it? I doubt it. |

Why is it always perceived as an attack by you when anyone questions the descriptions of 'God'? I am sure that at least one could be found which describes 'God' hating someone or something. Let us not be too evasive. A human is living, but a chair (which is created by humans) is not, therefore a human cannot be living. Your logic is a little flawed there my friend.
Not an appropriate assimilation spider... Perfection yields perfection, anything less, would render the original perfection imperfect. Where did human imperfections come from? Free will. Would humans have been perfect without free will? No, because God's goal was to create free moral agents.
Where did 'free will' come from? Just pure silliness. The Bible doesn't say that God created everything which exists. The Bible is clear that all evil springs from the hearts of men.
The hearts primary function is to circulate blood, there are no direct connections to emotional and/or reasoning capabilities. Therefore the source of evil cannot be one's heart. The Bible also clearly states that 'God' created all things. I have asked you this question many times and you have yet to answer, if God knows everything, regardless of if it will happen or not, why do we need to exist?
I never said that I beileved that 'God' is or was omniscient, but, just for the sake of discussion, I will answer your question to the best of my ability. We exist because we do. Who said we need to exist? What would your accepted concept of 'God' be without creation spider? |

The Bible also clearly states that 'God' created all things. Word games...okay, I'll play. In the Bible, "leb" is translated "heart", but it means "inner man, mind, will, heart, understanding". |

dragoness:
It seems to me that you no longer hate what you describe. It sounds more like a current processing from this vantage point. A wonderful book on this overall topic concerning the proper processing of that we which pick up along the way is by Miguel Ruiz... The Four Agreements... It was a one sitting complete read for me... in a few hours... I highly recommend it as one of the most enlightening books I have come to read. Although I disregarded the intermittent religious implications of the Toltec, the wisdom is marvelous... |

Is it really any different than 'the more things change, the more they stay the same'?

Just pure silliness. The Bible doesn't say that God created everything which exists. The Bible is clear that all evil springs from the hearts of men. With that said, it could be interpreted that Man has the same abilities as God. If the evil within the hearts of man created all things impure, then it could be surmised that the same happened to all that is good. Or, as the default argument would go; "anything not of God is of the Devil". |
