These little quibbles are nothing compared to what I have experienced on unmoderated sites

so those other sites allow people to call you what you really are...must be a comfort though that your hiding behind a screen

Write articles on it, speak out publically on it too, so what does that mean?

300 or so out of thousands is a small number. People see what they want to see. Just because someone joins the military, doesn't mean that they are fit for patriotic duty. Like going to war in Iraq when called upon by their country, thier brothers and sisters. Some people are rebelious from the start and blame the military for their choice to join. Those are the clowns protesting. They do while they are there and they do it when they get out. Those are also the cowards that can't can't set their pissy feelings aside and aide in the greater good of helping their fellow man beside him. After all that what it's all about, the person standing beside you. Ask any real soldier. They'll tell you, they saw people from all different walks of life pulling together, closer than you'll ever be to anybody in your entire lifetime. What if your son or daughter was over there and one of these idoiots where *****ing about everything they weren't going to do and let down his guard and didn't look out for his fellow man. Then you know what happens, your son or daughter is gone. Gone, because of what some coward wouldn't do for his or her country, for his or her fellow man, his or her brothers and sisters. Yet the coward gets to come home and protest because of all that have died before gave him that right. If those cowards could look past themselves, maybe they could have saved a life, made a difference. Now, what a story that would make! But, they won't, they can't, all they can do is run their mouth and protest. You know what, nobody gives a **** about those SOB's. They're cowards.

Wonderful high school friend
I spoke with David when he was home on leave, a couple weeks before he died in Viet Nam. I asked him "David aren't you afraid?" He looked down, then back up at me and smiled, then shook his head and said "no." I was never able to tell David "thank you." He was very brave. I know he is with the Lord.

I support this, and do not support the war, it was not necessary..all propaganda..explode

It is good when the soldiers speak out. If you want to see any of the truth concerning the war these days you have to dig and watch public supported channels to get the real deal from the people on the streets of Iraq. The main news stations do not want to report the truth for some reason.noway

are only soldiers who speak out and bash the only ones to tell the truth in iraq, just this litle group of 300, and the rest of the 1.5 million are liars? cool, thanks for the info!
wouldnt know what to do without you.

it was already said but bares repeating, you see what you want, you hear what you want. you want hate there, hate for america anf hate for the president.

you get paid for your articles? really? you a writer or something for some media? oh that certianly explains a hell of a lot!!!! you guys are the problem in iraq, you leave and let us do our damn jobs, we'll call you when we're done, dont need you as babysitters youve managed to get enough of us killed.

No you only hear what you want to hear and report half truths.
Talk to the soldiers there and see what they say. All you and someone else does is copy and paste news articles from people that are biased.
They're idiots.
How many of these soldiers have you talked to from Iraq.
Ask a real soldier, and ask a real vet ....go see for yourself ...go to iraq, and go to vietnam....see for yourself.
If not then you have no business commenting on anything about any war.
Have you ever served in the military? If not shut your mouth.

I WILL NOT!!!! Who the hell are you to tell me anything???? I have my opinion and it is as valid as any other human beings opinion on this whole big ole planet. If it bothers you do not read my opinion then.noway huh

Doc, Oh, you were a little tyke of 5 when I was out in 1977 -

Pete's Dragon is a combination live action/animated Disney musical about a misfortunate boy named Pete and his gibberish-speaking, oft-invisible dragon Elliott.

Even if he's utterly goofy and doesn't omit a single intelligible thought, there's something compelling about Elliot, as the boy's guardian angel and friend, who's always there for him, even when he seems not to be.

But, I have come to be your guardian angel tonight, I am the good dragon!!!

Lindyy says:

Jess642 - Glad I made you mad. At least I did something on behalf of my friend who was killed and all the military today who are risking their lives for our freedom! Like our military and military vets on this thread.

People like you do not deserve their sacrifices so that you can sit on this thread and flap your jaws. HA as if I could care about your being mad. Who are you anyways? What have YOU done for our country?

Sorry, Charlie, I do not intimidate.

Done for your country???

Other than have to stomach the rubbish wafted through our media, and sitcom crap, help support your flailing financial economy, allow this ridiculous government of past to rape and pillage our land, on the premise of trade partners.... as little as possible...

Why what have you done for mine?

Other than set your caustic ramblings through these threads.... if I didn't know better, I would think your name is ALex, you sure smell like her... except she couldn't stand the type of garbage you dish out.

If you care so much for this wonderful war, and these phenomenal soldiers, why not get off your fat 59 yr old lazy arse, and go do something to support them? bigsmile
