someone told me to use this,apparently its good for you , so i bought some and im using it as a sweetner in herbal tea. does anyone know what it does, and how it benefits your body??

Internally active manuka honey is used for gastro-intestinal disorders, such as acid reflux, esophagitis, GERD, heartburn, up-set stomach, stomach ulcer, peptic ulcer, h. pylori (helicobacter pylori), gastritis, duodenum ulcer, diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Externally active manuka honey is used for wound care to help treat a burn, wound, amputation stump wound, ulcer, diabetic leg ulcer, diabetic foot ulcer, sore, bed sores pressure sore, decubitus, decubitus ulcer, scar, MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staph Auereus) infected wound, surgical scar wound healing. |

its says to have 2 tea spoons before every meal, but as im having no meals ive had some anyway. it is expensive, about 6 times the price of normal honey, so i hope it works.

Maybe I'm the one out of touch... actually it was a vet who said how good it was for humans and pets. my rabbit had a cut, and she said putting manuka honey on it might heal it. so obviously from her saying that i knew it had healing properties, and i saw it in the shop the other day and bought it, instead of my usual honey. |
