Internally active manuka honey is used for gastro-intestinal disorders, such as acid reflux, esophagitis, GERD, heartburn, up-set stomach, stomach ulcer, peptic ulcer, h. pylori (helicobacter pylori), gastritis, duodenum ulcer, diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
Externally active manuka honey is used for wound care to help treat a burn, wound, amputation stump wound, ulcer, diabetic leg ulcer, diabetic foot ulcer, sore, bed sores pressure sore, decubitus, decubitus ulcer, scar, MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staph Auereus) infected wound, surgical scar wound healing.

thats cool then because i have had h pylori but ive had the treatment so i dont have it anymore, also i do have gastritis, and i get ibs. do you know how often you have to use it?? it doesnt take as nice as normal honey

its says to have 2 tea spoons before every meal, but as im having no meals ive had some anyway. it is expensive, about 6 times the price of normal honey, so i hope it works. happy happy

You didn't actually start eating something just because someone else said "Here, this is good for you" without doing some research on your own did you? Was this a Doctor who told you to add this to your diet? Some health and fitness guru?

actually it was a vet who said how good it was for humans and pets. my rabbit had a cut, and she said putting manuka honey on it might heal it. so obviously from her saying that i knew it had healing properties, and i saw it in the shop the other day and bought it, instead of my usual honey.
