Topic: do you always find what you are looking for?

I have to ask this questions.. When you are looking for the right guy/girl, you have a list of what you he/she should be. (ex: blue eyes, big boobs, or tall dark and handsome, Caucasians or African American, smoking or non) Do you actually find a person that person that has it all or do you just find someone that has most of what you are looking for?? I know that sometime you end up with the opposite personality as your own.

Well, first off my list never includes a hair color, or eye color. I mean... not so important. The rest of my list, however, keeps me waiting. And I agree with celticpride0280... never settle for someone who isn't right for you. However, I also realize that what we think is perfect isn't always so... so that never settle part is for the things that are REALLY important!

I know that sometime you end up with the opposite personality as your own. i think sometimes you will meet guy/girl that is (physically) what you are looking for...but is wrong for you on other levels. and then i think sometimes you will meet a guy/girl who might not fit your physical criteria, but would be a good match for you... so the question then becomes : are you going to have a borderline relationship with your perfect physical ideal, or will you get over the physical and perhaps find happiness with someone you might not have expected?

i meet people with an open mind i however not attracted to overweight people but doesnt mean their body has to be perfect

I had it in my mind the perfect man was 5'7, brown eyes, dark hair, cowboy...then came the man of my dreams..and he was totally opposite of what I had pictured as perfect! This one was 6'0, blond hair, green eyes, and nicely built..and a musician...go figure!!

Maybe they were really opposites and we were just attracted but didn't like each other. Hmm! That makes sense.
